The flowers are followed by abundant clusters of small red berries in late summer to winter that the birds will thank you for. The final act of the season is the eye-catching array of bronze, orange and muted purple foliage. At 15 to 20 feet tall and 12 to 15 feet wide, Royal Raindrops is ideal as a colorful accent tree in small to medium size gardens and home foundation plantings. You might also be happy to know that this easy-to-grow tree is disease resistant and both heat and drought tolerant when established.

Growing 15 to 20 feet tall and 12 to 15 feet tall, the Royal Raindrops Crabapple Tree is ideal for use as a specimen, in groupings or straight and staggered rows to line a drive, walkway, property line or landscape border. Growing Preferences

The Royal Raindrops Crabapple Tree is very easy to grow in most any average, moist but well-drained soil, including clay, and full sun or mostly sun. Has high drought tolerance when established. Standing water or constantly soggy or wet soils can be problematic. No pruning necessary though can be pruned for density or shaping purposes immediately after the spring bloom.
